Clean and cozy room, but the breakfast variety was disappointing. Great location near transport and sights.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk to Nishiki Market and Gion district, making it super convenient for sightseeing. I loved the clean and modern bathroom. the shower was excellent after long days of exploring. They provided a kettle in the room, which was useful, but I was disappointed with the lack of tea or coffee options. The room felt small for two people, and even with my luggage under the bed, it felt cramped. One lift had a persistent mechanical issue, dropping before moving, which was unsettling. The smoking room should be moved, as smoke gets into the lifts, and it’s unpleasant for non-smokers. Staff were friendly, but there was a language barrier that occasionally made things challenging. Overall, it's a decent choice, just with some notable areas for improvement.

Onsen bliss after city exploring
My stay was delightful. The public bath provided a soothing escape each evening, while the staff's warmth made every interaction enjoyable. Plus, the location was perfect for walking to major attractions.
However, the lounge availability was limited, making it difficult to find a peaceful spot to work. Also, the room size felt cramped, especially with two people and luggage.

The public bath offered a relaxing evening retreat.
The room was incredibly cramped, making it difficult to move around comfortably. We struggled with the lack of usable seating and had to keep our luggage on the bed. The connectivity for the drink machines was a hassle, requiring assistance from staff, which didn't help the overall experience.

would be happy to recommend for a couple of nights
Friendly staff, cozy room, and I particularly enjoyed the powerful walk-in shower in my standard king room, while the location made it a breeze to access the city's must-see destinations within a short walking distance.
Don’t have any issues at all.

I really enjoyed the super comfy bed and the nice public bath that helped me unwind after a day of sightseeing. The options for relaxation at the public bath were great, with both indoor and outdoor soaking areas. The only downside was that the room could only be accessed from one side, which made moving around a bit tricky, but it didn't ruin my stay at all! 🌟

missingWrote a review on Apr 13convenient locationdiverse breakfastsmall roomlack of viewlimited movement
The location offered easy access to numerous attractions, with many within a comfortable walking distance. Breakfast was delightful, featuring a mix of Western and traditional options, including popular Marche products. However, the Standard Twin Room was notably small, which limited movement, and the lack of a view felt disappointing. Despite the cozy environment, a more spacious arrangement would greatly enhance the experience.
